I am so excited to announce that the Studio will be hosting our first ever Open Studio Artists' Exhibition featuring four local artists; Donna Meeks, Lynn Gowan, Marissa Smile, and myself Tamela Koshiol.
I cannot begin to tell you how much it means to me to be able to do this - and I must admit it is a little scary (putting something as personal as your own art out there for everyone to see is...well scary. No one wants to put something out there that people won't like - and all the silly questions of doubt pop into your head, I could elaborate but I'm trying to forget them).
When I decided to take over the studio it was mostly because I just didn't feel like it was time for me to move my art to the backseat - I wanted to keep growing artistically and as a person. I have come to better understand that so many talents and gifts really are just that, gifts. Gifts that I want to share with others. My talents don't do me any good if I am too afraid to put them out there and share with you all.
So I am, with the help of some pretty talented women, sharing my art with you! I hope that you all will be able to come by the studio and take a peek (maybe even find something you just can't live without).
